DAY 296

Another freezing, foggy morning at Ranthambore and sadly ... no tigers. We did see a tiger footprint in the mud though which was quite exciting. And crocodiles. And a wild boar. And two different types of deer. And a turtle. And some fabulous birds. But no tigers.

DAY 295

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve today. We've been in twice now but so far no tigers :-( It's beautiful inside the park but it's a bit of a circus - lots of jeeps and larger vehicles chasing a sighting. So we're all feeling a little bit like this bird. One more chance tomorrow morning before we head back to Delhi.

DAY 294

Back on the road again today with another early start. Our train was delayed (by three hours) so we did a little misty morning detour to Humayun's Tomb near the railway station. Ed took this brilliant photo. We made it to Ranthambore in Rajasthan in the end ... into the national park tomorrow.

DAY 293

Back in Delhi and it's Louie's birthday today! We celebrated by going to the climbing wall. That's Sophy on the left, Oz in the middle and Louie on the right. Our holiday isn't over yet ...

DAY 292

We had a travelling day today - arriving in Hyderabad on the overnight train from Hospet (Hampi) and then a flight back to Delhi...

Another guest photographer today ... Andrew. So many beautiful views in Hampi. You could stay here for weeks and still not find everything there is to explore. Unfortunately we're off on the train this evening back to Delhi, via Hyderabad.

Happy New Year from Hampi! These chalk patterns were outside every shop and house in the village. So beautiful.
