I've been in Punjab again this week but with no time to take photos. This is at the fort we stayed at a couple of weekends ago. These earthenware pots are quite common, filled with cool water for the hot summer days. They're always accompanied by a scoop or cup for people to help themselves, but crucially without touching it with their mouths. People in India seem to have an incredible ability to drink from a bottle, a glass, a cup or any other receptacle without it touching their lips and without spilling a drop.
