Meanwhile I have returned from Chandigarh and am now in Mumbai. I'm used to seeing cows, chickens, pigs, horses, camels and elephants (more rarely) in the city. But this was the first time I'd ever seen sheep, surrounded by people and traffic, just wandering around.
